This May, Filmlab Aarhus and FO Aarhus launched the Talent-competition. 25.000 DKK would be rewarded for the best idea for a short film with point of departure in Aarhus Festival’s theme ‘Beautiful Mistakes’. Barbara Morgan, manager of the renowned Austin Film Festival, was in charge of picking the best idea. She chose Trine Berg and Frantz Bomberg’s simple story about the lonely 9-year-old Lukas, who one day finds a new friend with unusually long arms.
Throughout summer, the two talented film makers have transformed the idea into reality, and the finished film with the title ‘Too long, too short’ will premiere at Filmlab Aarhus accompanied by a short presentation from the two directors.
