The Swedish director Simon Klose has multiple documentaries and music videos on his resume, and he created a great deal of attention with the film ‘TPB AFK’ aka ‘The Pirate Bay – Away From Keyboard’. The film is about the founders of the file sharing service Pirate Bay, who in 2009 was sentenced to imprisonment and a damages claim of 30 mio. Swedish Kroner for breaching property rights. For this artist talk, Klose will talk about his experiences with alternative funding, such as crowd funding, and give advice on the opportunities of realizing your idea as a young film maker.
