Århus Filmværksted and Filmlab Aarhus invite all film talents to a competition, where the idea is to produce the best 60-second film in line with the 2012 Festival theme. To initiate the competition, one of the best directors of short format films, Martin de Thurah, will drop by Øst For Paradis, where he will share his inspiration and tools for handling the ultra-short film’s storytelling power.
Martin de Thurah is a highly sought-after music video director due to his visual originality, but he has also found the time to tell his own stories in the short films ‘Ung mand falder’ and ‘We who stayed behind’.
Furthermore, the audience will get the opportunity to meet the Aarhus native Jesper Maintz, who recently premiered with his movie ‘Upstairs’.
